We, Cleanique Laundry and Linen Hire will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with industry standards.
Services Washes
- Wash at 40 degrees and tumble on medium heat.
- We do not take responsibility for sorting through soiled laundry prior to washing. It is the customer’s responsibility to separate and sort colors and check the suitability of all items for washing and drying using the service wash method.
- We do not accept damage caused due to clothing being sorted incorrectly, including colour runs.
- We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal non-washable items (e.g., money, jewellery, pens, etc.).
- We do not accept any responsibility if personal non-washable items damage the laundry.
- We do not accept responsibility for missing items in service washes unless you can provide evidence that it was in the bag when it arrived with us. We wash as a load, and it is not practical for us to tag and log each individual garment.
Full Laundry Service and Dry Cleaning
- All items will be cleaned in accordance with their care labels.
- In the absence of a care label, we will clean the item using our professional judgment or return the garment to you uncleaned. The garment can be cleaned with the customer's agreement but is at the owner's risk.
- We do not accept responsibility for garments damaged when they have been cleaned in accordance with the care label. Buttons, buckles, zips, fasteners, badges, sequins, etc., cannot be guaranteed if damaged during the cleaning process.
Stain Removal
- Every effort will be made to remove stains using all of our professional knowledge and experience. However, 100% stain removal cannot be guaranteed. In the event that a stain cannot be removed, the full price of cleaning will still be payable by the customer.
Collection and Delivery
- There is a minimum charge of £1.50 for collections and deliveries. Failed collection and/or delivery is acceptable by prior agreement; however, it is strictly at the customer's own risk.
Uncollected Items
- Items that remain uncollected after 90 days will be donated to charity.
Third-Party Services
- We reserve the right to utilize any outside company or service provider as necessary, without prior notice to the customer.
Complaints
- If customers are dissatisfied with the service provided, they must contact us via info@cleanique.co.uk or call 01244 681300.
- Missing or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours.
Payment Terms
- General Payment Policy:
- Payment is to be made before delivery or upon collection, unless a prior agreement has been made.
- Account customers will receive an invoice at the end of each month, and payment must be made within 15 days.
- Direct Debit Payment Terms:
- All clients must provide their card details during the sign-up process to authorize future transactions via direct debit.
- Payments made within 7 days of the invoice date will receive a 5% discount.
- Overdue Accounts:
- If an account is overdue, we reserve the right to stop deliveries and collections until the account is brought up to date.
- Payments past the due date will incur a 5% daily interest on the outstanding balance.
- Commercial Laundry Clients:
- No deposit is required for commercial laundry clients.
- Linen Hire Clients:
- Linen hire clients are required to pay a deposit starts at £75, subject to management review. The invoice for the deposit will be sent separately.
Personal Information
- We will only use your personal information to assist with processing your order. We will never share your information with anyone outside the company.
Estimates
- An estimate may be given prior to the items being assessed by our team. Estimates are a guideline only, and additional costs may be added once the team has processed the garments.
Labelling of Garments
- We strongly advise that you label/mark your items with the name of the property. We cannot be held responsible for lost items if they are not clearly labeled.
- Bedding and towels are particularly difficult to identify, so it is essential that large quantities are clearly marked.
Handling Delicate Materials
- Delicate materials such as lace, silk, satin, and cashmere require special care. While we always act according to the washing labels and our best knowledge and experience, we cannot guarantee the condition of delicate materials after laundering.
- Delicate materials may be subject to additional charges for special handling.
Inventory of Items
- We strongly advise you to send in a written list of the laundry to be cleaned. This can be via email to orders@cleanique.co.uk or on a written sheet included in the laundry bags.
- If no written inventory is provided, we cannot be held responsible for items that the customer claims are missing.
- We reserve the right to complete an inventory sheet for customers who have not provided one, without notice to the customer.
Contract Commitment, Notice Period & Early Termination Penalties
By completing and submitting this form, you agree to enter into a service agreement with Cleanique for a minimum term of 12 months (1 year). This contract becomes effective upon confirmation of service commencement.
Should you wish to amend, pause, or terminate the agreement, a minimum of 90 days' written notice must be provided.
In the event of early termination without the required 90-day notice, or prior to the completion of the 12-month term, penalties will apply. Penalties will be subject to computation, based on your monthly average order value from the start of contract, multiplied by the number of remaining months in the contract prior to the intended termination date.
This ensures fairness and covers operational commitments made to support your service.
